The Resy Hit List: Where In Seattle You’ll Want to Eat Right Now

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Seattle: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In Seattle Not to Miss This Month

  • Izakaya Pop-Up: On Friday, April 12, from 5 to 9 pm, Friday Harbor’s Coho Restaurant invites you to experience Tokyo After Dark, a San Juan Island Izakaya Pop-Up. Drawing inspiration from Japan’s cozy after-work spots renowned for their casual pub fare, indulge in delectable small plates such as chicken karaage, tuna poke bowls, and tempura oyster spring rolls. Check for tickets here (and don’t forget your ferry reservation). And check Resy’s Events page for more one-off experiences.
  • Slay the (Sun)Day: Get ready for sky-high wigs, sparkles, and stilettos as Seattle’s finest queens take the stage at Kamp Social House‘s Drag Brunch. Hosted by the fabulous Jane Don’t, treat yourself to house-made beignets, various breakfast hashes, or a signature A Basic B!+S# Bloody Mary (non-alcoholic option available). Doors open at 12:15; show starts at 1:00. Don’t forget your $1s to tip the queens! Book your ticket now to save your seat, and of course book a meal at Kamp any other time, too.
  • An Asparagus Celebration: Celebrate the arrival of spring at A Sparrow Grass Affair on Sunday, April 7th at 5 pm. Go on a flavor-filled adventure celebrating asparagus, the star of springtime’s green bounty. Hosted at the picturesque iconiq on Mount Baker Ridge, savor a five-course feast crafted by Chef Toshiyuki Kawai, including green and white asparagus salad, skirt steak with green asparagus pistou, green asparagus crème brûlée, and more. Tickets are $120 per person.
  • Dungeon Masters Unite! Join Skål Beer Hall for an epic culinary journey through the fictional continent Faerûn at its Dungeons & Dragons-themed Valhalla Dinner Series. Join mead makers from Mr. B’s Meadery and executive chef Jon Bidgood on April 4th at 7:30 pm for a five-course feast and mead pairings. Think dishes like grilled rothé ribs — blackberry-glazed lamb ribs — and Illithid’s Kiss (braised baby octopus). Tickets are $78 per person.
