The Resy Guide to Downtown San Francisco

By

Here’s the thing about San Francisco. Some neighborhoods have undoubtedly been hit harder than others in recent years — downtown and the neighboring areas, like the Tenderloin and SoMa, have been a little slower to recover than others.

But the City is far from doomed. There’s beauty everywhere if you look for it, and there are small businesses that are going strong and keeping the neighborhoods alive.

We’re talking about our beloved restaurant community, of course. Hop on BART or MUNI, get off at Montgomery or Embarcadero and walk around. Go up Kearny to Chinatown, take a street car up Powell. Pop into a spot and support the restaurants you love, because by doing so, you’re supporting The City that you love. Here are some of our favorite spots throughout downtown, SoMa, Union Square, and the Tenderloin.
