The March Hit List: Alma, Paladar 511, Barrow’s Catfish, and More

Mardi Gras: We knew thee well. It is March, which means that as of the second of the month, Carnival and Mardi Gras for 2022 are wrapped.

The city will be in recovery mode for a tick. But not for too long! Because spring is imminent and that means time for embracing the perfect weather before summer’s onslaught begins.

This month, once you’ve recovered from the Gras, dine on bright appetizers in the Marigny, perfect fried catfish on Earhart, and iconic biryani and tikka masala Uptown. You deserve it — but take a (very short) post-Gras breather first.
