At pizzeria spinoff of perennial hit Flour + Water, the generously topped pepperoni pies have become one of our favorite pizzas in the city. A spritz to start, some vegetable sides, and soft serve dessert to finish — that’s the path to a great meal. They have plenty of space heaters in their outdoor parklet to keep you warm in the San Francisco cold, too.

The second floor Scotch-centric cocktail bar Cold Drinks is back, along with the adjacent fine dining restaurant Eight Tables. Start with a drink, move to a tasting menu, and maybe finish with a night cap back at Cold Drinks, one of the city’s top cocktail spots — you deserve it.

Has Eight Tables predicted the future of fine dining? Maybe! It’s a great question to mull over at the one-of-a-kind upscale Chinese destination. The tasting menu is $175 with an optional wine pairing currently set at $155.

A classic returns: Marin’s beloved, old school roadside stop is back open for daily indoor and outdoor dining, serving up all the familiar fare and classic cocktails.

The Namu outpost on the corner of Dolores and 18th is back in action for reservations, and it’s just as good as ever, perfect for a pre- or post-park meal. The namesake stonepot is still a signature, but don’t sleep on the Korean-inspired hot dogs.

Reserve a table at Barebottle and go tank to table with a pint or three. There’s a rotating roster of food trucks to keep you filled on the food side, from quesabirria from La Santa Torta to vegan southern fare from Saucy Bandits.

If you’re going to spend your day wine tasting in Napa, you should have a good base. The tacos at Thomas Keller’s La Calenda provide a great layer. The restaurant and its beautiful patio also have a full-service bar with tons of tequila and mezcal, in case you feel like getting a head start.

Wagyu-centric Gozu is back. Hokkaido scallop with crispy Wagyu bacon. Chawanmushi with Wagyu dashi. Smoked and grilled Wagyu “short rib” with fermented black apple tonkatsu. We’ve never wanted meats sweats more in our lives.
