This Summer Bring Your Favorite Restaurants to the Park with Amex Gold® Card Picnic in the Park

NEW YORK – June 2, 2021 – This June the American Express® Gold Card, the ultimate everyday dining card, will debut a brand-new culinary experience: Amex Gold® Card Picnic in the Park, one-weekend-only of chef-curated picnic bundles. The East to West Coast outdoor dining event – taking place Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2021 in NYC, Boston, San Francisco or Los Angeles – is one of the many ways Amex Gold is helping Card Members celebrate summer and enjoy their favorite restaurants again.

Thousands of picnic kits (with extra accessories for Gold Card Members) will be distributed simultaneously in four cities, across two days, with food prepared by some of the most in-demand restaurants. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 9 at Resy.com/Picnic.

• In New York City, legendary downtown bistro Pastis will create a Parisian-inspired picnic for day one, followed by an interpretation of picnic fare on day two from Roberta’s newest Brooklyn location in Domino Park, all available for pickup on Central Park West near the 72^nd St Sheep’s Meadow entrance.
• In Los Angeles, picnics from popular spots – chef Enrique Olvera’s newly opened Arts District taco window Ditroit and Los Feliz neighborhood favorite Kismet – will be available near Griffith Park.
• In San Francisco local favorites Liholiho Yacht Club and Red’s House are on deck for Heritage- and Caribbean- driven picnics for pickup near the iconic Palace of Fine Arts.
• In Boston, two of the city’s most in-demand restaurants, Pammy’s and Tiger Mama will pack picnics to enjoy near the Boston Downtown Waterfront.

Each picnic includes the makings for a perfect day in the park: an individual lunchbox-style meal by the day’s featured restaurant, a treat by Mah-Ze-Dahr bakery (chocolate shortbread with toasted cocoa nibs), La Croix Sparkling Water, blowing bubbles, frisbee and a mini (1.0 oz) Supergoop! PLAY sunscreen lotion. American Express Gold Card Members can purchase tickets marked with a Gold badge in the Resy app and Resy.com – these tickets include extra accessories compliments of the American Express Gold Card including: a custom picnic blanket, a full size (2.4 oz) Supergoop! PLAY sunscreen lotion and two never-before-seen treats by Mah-Ze-Dahr (strawberry lemonade sandwich cookie and brown butter corn chocolate ganache sandwich cookie).

Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased at Resy.com/Picnic and in the Resy app beginning June 9th at 10:00am EST for one, two, three or four persons. Tickets with an Amex Gold badge can be purchased by American Express Gold Card Members with an eligible card in their Resy wallet, while supplies last. Ticket holders can pick up their picnic kits from the Amex Gold food truck at the confirmed location, date and time – between 11am and 4:45pm – indicated in their purchase confirmation email.

  Chef-Partners Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson’s Los Feliz neighborhood restaurant with a menu that merges Mediterranean and California flavors.
