NEW YORK – June 2, 2021 – This June the American Express® Gold Card, the ultimate everyday dining card, will debut a brand-new culinary experience: Amex Gold® Card Picnic in the Park, one-weekend-only of chef-curated picnic bundles. The East to West Coast outdoor dining event – taking place Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2021 in NYC, Boston, San Francisco or Los Angeles – is one of the many ways Amex Gold is helping Card Members celebrate summer and enjoy their favorite restaurants again.
Thousands of picnic kits (with extra accessories for Gold Card Members) will be distributed simultaneously in four cities, across two days, with food prepared by some of the most in-demand restaurants. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 9 at Resy.com/Picnic.
“As summer arrives, we are all eager to get outdoors and experience the things we’ve missed the most, like enjoying great food with great friends. The Amex Gold Card Picnic in the Park is a perfect way to do just that and another example of how we are backing our Card Members, whether they are ordering takeout for a night in or unlocking dining experiences curated just for them,” said Rachel Stocks, Executive Vice President, Global Premium Products and Benefits at American Express.
