At his two-Michelin-starred Coi, chef-owner Daniel Patterson continues to be at the forefront of creative cooking in San Francisco. On the ever-changing tasting menu ($250), you may happen upon courses like grilled seaweed bread or a perfectly cooked cylinder of black cod. Coi remains one of the most influential fine dining restaurants in the country, and it’s worth the price.
