The Resy Hit List: Where In Philadelphia You’ll Want to Eat Right Now

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Philadelphia: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In Philadelphia Not to Miss This Month

  • Popping up: Forîn Café, Kensington’s chill vibes cafe, is hosting Tabachoy for a Filipino comfort food residency that runs until Feb. 16. In addition to Chance Anies’s cooking, there will be drinks like an ube mai tai, and a vinyl-powered soundtrack. Book it on Resy.
  • Family affair: On Feb. 13 and 21, Osteria will host special dinners with the Mongiorgi family of La Bottega Del Marcellaio in the small village of Savigno, outside Bologna, Italy. They’ll share family recipes and cook hearty dishes like fresh sausage, tortelloni, and gnocco fritto with mortadella. Book it on Resy.
  • Hummus Encore: Dizengoff is back and all grown up. After a six-month pause, our favorite destination for hummus and pillowy pitas just reopened with a colorful 12-seat bar, a menu full of Michael Solomonov’s Middle Eastern delights, and four times more seating. Dinner only for now; lunch coming soon. Book it here, and find more recent openings here.
  • Black History Month: On Feb. 19, The Dutch’s chef and co-owner Kevin Watters, will commemorate the month with his Mom Mom’s Soul Food Pop-Up. Named for his late grandmother Lillian Lewis, this $75 four-course dinner supports Everybody Eats, a hunger relief organization led by chefs of color. Book it via email.
