New on Resy: Veranda Lounge, Last Saint, Raw Lab, and More

This is a place you’ll want to know: a friendly, unpretentious restaurant that’s become a neighborhood favorite for chef-owner Joel Lucas’ wide-ranging menu referencing the cuisines of India, Thailand, the Caribbean, Morocco, Italy, and more — but always based on the best Lowcountry ingredients.

From the same group behind Uptown Social, this breezy, intensely colorful beach-themed cantina — look for custom surfboards, water sports photos, and a dune-buggy mural made of beer caps on the walls — has a small-plates menu you’ll definitely want to work your way through, including four kinds of sliders on housemade Hawaiian rolls.

The team behind Locals Sushi in West Ashley and Mount Pleasant casts its net further afield at this big, convivial fish and shellfish emporium, adding flavors of Mexico, Italy, and Spain to the oyster-focused menu.
