The Resy Hit List: Where In Boston You’ll Want to Eat Right Now

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Boston: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In Boston Not to Miss This Month

  • Sip Preview: You may have heard that the good folks behind Mahaniyom are hard at work at a new, “elevated dive bar experience” dubbed Merai. You’ll have an opportunity to learn what that means first-hand on March 5th, when the bar-to-be will pop up at Equal Measure starting at 8 p.m. Find more info here.
  • Don’t Read If You Hate Tacos: East Somerville has a new purveyor of tortilla-based cuisine in the form of Tulum, which is now dispensing tacos of the birria, housemade chorizo, and beer-battered fish variety. But there’s more to savor within its tropically decorated interior, including mole poblano and a signature “lava steak” cooked on hot stones.
  • Sláinte: Saint Patrick’s Day is nigh, and you may celebrate it a few days early with a March 13th “Irish Heritage Dinner” at The Blue Ox  in Lynn. For $125, revelers start the evening with a pour of Guinness or a Bushmills cocktail, followed by potato and leek soup, salmon potato cakes, roasted mussels, braised lamb stew, and finally a raisin bread pudding in a whiskey sauce. Irish whiskey, we assume. Find tickets here.
  • Easter Brunch: Easter arrives early this year — meaning it’s time to book that full brunch buffet with even fuller views of Boston Harbor. Thanks to its position in Quincy’s Marina Bay, South shore stunner Victory Point has all of the above in spades. Find tickets here.
