The Resy Hit List: Where In Boston You’ll Want to Eat Right Now

By

There’s no question we hear more often: Where should I go eat? And while we at Resy know it’s an honor to be the friend who everyone asks for restaurant advice, we also know it’s a complicated task. That’s where the Resy Hit List comes in.

We’ve designed it to be your essential resource for dining in Boston: a monthly-updated (and newly expanded!) guide to the restaurants in that you won’t want to miss — tonight or any night.

Four Things In Boston Not to Miss This Month

  • How Romantic: Never one for pretensions, State Park understands the ideal Valentine’s Day dinner — that meatball-pushing, spaghetti-slurping scene from “Lady and the Tramp.” They’re replicating the celluloid moment with a three-course meal of Caesar salad, spaghetti and a heart-shaped dessert, served on white tablecloths amid candlelight. Find tickets here, and more Valentine’s options on our Resy Events page.
  • Not-Lonely Hearts Club: No Valentine’s Day date, no problem. Boqueria Seaport is throwing an alternative bash with a Galentine’s Day Cocktail Mixing Class, which for $65 grants the opportunity to learn how to mix up two of the Spanish restaurant’s seasonal cocktails. Tickets here.
  • Moonlighting: New Year’s might have come and gone, but Lunar New Year is just getting started. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Sumiao Hunan Kitchen will be serving a special menu that includes dishes like tiger skin pork belly with pickled cabbage, rice cakes with cassava starch and dried flowers, and tilapia with pine nuts, green beans and a sweet and sour sauce. Book here.
  • New Year, New Food Hall: 2024’s first entry into the ongoing food hall wars is The Lineup, a clutch of five new concepts from chef John Fraser within the also new Downtown skyscraper Winthrop Center. The Lineup’s lineup includes Ariana for veggie-centric burritos, IRIS mezze for fast-casual Greek, Gatto Pazzo for Neapolitan pizza, and the Day Shift to get a coffee after it all. More info here.
