Because creative, fine food balanced with communal energy offers a fresh take. Inspired by his family farm in Wenatchee, chef David Nichols opened Eight Row last year. He has a knack for highlighting fruits and vegetables, even in meat and fish dishes like the Columbia River sturgeon with braised kohlrabi, kale-serrano salsa verde, and sunflower seed chermoula; or the duck breast with wild rice, chard, leeks, parsnip fondant, and pear mostarda.
