The December Hit List: Bar Volpe, Orfano, Yvonne’s, and More

By

December is just getting started, but Christmas has come to the Boston restaurant scene early with the opening or re-opening of a trio of buzzy Italian restaurants. The long-awaited Bar Volpe has sprung up in Southie, while Bar Enza has slid into the old Benedetto space in the Charles Hotel, and Tiffani Faison’s long-dormant Orfano is back and ready to party.

Meanwhile, we’ve got holiday lunches at haley.henry and Yvonne’s, plain-old lunch at Time Out Market, and respective Christmas and Hanukkah pop-ups at Shore Leave and Bow Market. Let’s get festive with this month’s Hit List.
