The August Hit List: Saltie Girl, T&B Wood-Fired, Menya Jiro, and More

Summer 2021 is going out on a high note with a pair of high-profile openings in the form of Banks Fish House and The Fed, while a number of smaller-scale upstarts contribute new flavors to the local scene. Japanese ramen chain Menya Jiro is now serving Kagoshima-style bowls in Harvard Square, and the first local Double Zero location puts vegan pizza on Newbury Street. Elsewhere, we greet the return of indoor dining at Nightshade Noodle Bar and a renewed chance to pick-up Mexican street corn pies at T&B Pizza.
