1. Gino’s Restaurant and Bar
Sellwood
A Sellwood neighborhood classic, Gino’s has been serving family style Italian plates since 1996. Though the pandemic forced diners out of the classic wooden bar and familial ambiance, the takeout version is as cozy and classic as ever. Find classics like Grandma Jean’s ragu over penne, sausage on soft polenta, caesar salads for four, pasta alla vodka and local ribeye paired with garlic mash and seasonal vegetables. Bottles of red, white and rose are available to take home, though cocktails from the old-school bar will have to be enjoyed on the patio only.
Dining status: Takeout available.
