Arden
Pearl District
Rustic fine dining with plenty of attention paid to wine is the concept of this brand-new restaurant. Arden Wine Bar & Kitchen highlights local Pacific Northwest ingredients with a four-course prix fixe menu — served at the chef’s counter and in the intimate dining room (a more casual menu is offered in the lounge). Dishes change quarterly, but highlights include marinated golden beets with sesame labneh and hazelnut dukkah and koji rubbed ribeye with charred little gems, cipollini, and salsa verde. The wine list focuses on small producers who don’t manipulate their wines but, rather, let the grapes speak.
