The October Hit List: Osteria Lupo, Saint John, Plates, and More
After a particularly long, hot slog through summer accompanied by the customary annual dearth of restaurant news and activity, New Orleans’ restaurant scene is once again hotter than a New Orleans summer day.
Your October Hit List has the scoop. With cooler weather upon us, it is no longer unthinkable to order a satisfying bowl of gumbo, Louisiana’s version of mother’s milk. Luckily, Café Reconcile serves up celebrated versions. Elsewhere, newcomer Plates and time-tested Lola’s are pushing tapas and globally influenced fare grounded in local ingredients. Read on to see what’s in store for a very memorable autumn.
