As we ease into cooler, fall-like temperatures, there’s still plenty of patio time left to be had both in and out of the city. Sure, we’re back to wearing masks indoors while dining, but that’s OK — whatever keeps hardworking restaurant workers safe. And while we’re thinking of the people who serve us, let’s remember to keep showing kindness. The industry is still precarious as it navigates widespread staffing issues and the fifth wave of infection.
