The June Hit List: Communion, Shinya Shokudo, Finch & Pine, and More

By

Indoor dining at restaurants has largely resumed in Seattle, the latest in our return to normal. Not everyone is operating at full capacity yet, but we’re getting closer. And if you’re still unsure about sitting within four walls —  and wearing a mask when not eating and drinking — that’s fine; there are great outdoor tables all over town, just in time for summer. Either way, plenty of options.

June brings sunnier days and fewer layers, not to mention an abundance of locally grown produce that makes everything feel (and taste) a little bit brighter, and more optimistic. From smoky berbere chicken and other “Seattle soul” dishes in the Central District to curry karaage burgers on Capitol Hill, citrusy ceviche on Alki, and more, here’s this month’s Hit List. Have at it.
