The May Hit List: Il Nido, Nishino, The Corson Building, Samara, and More

By

With warming spring weather and more people vaccinated, life is slowly resuming to some semblance of normalcy for Seattle bars and restaurants. We’re not quite there yet, but there’s hope — as diners fill patio seating to enjoy warmth from that strange, bright object in the sky, no longer huddled next to heat lamps in a dozen layers of clothing. Plus restaurants have adapted indoor dining logistics that are keeping Seattlites safe — guests and servers alike.

From ‘cheesy’ disco fries to applewood-roasted duck and one of the city’s benchmark omakase menus, here are a few of the dishes that feel like home as we ease back into in-person dining. Here’s to delicious drinks, bites, longer days — and the bounty of this month’s Hit List.
