Lunch: a meal sometimes so overlooked we merge it with breakfast, or get so caught up in other things we might skip it entirely. Lucky for Portlanders, many restaurants have fueled pandemic-era adjustments into midday menus guaranteed to make you reconsider the second-most important meal of the day. With new restaurants, like Mexican-Cajun fusion cart Nacheaux and the Beast-alum-led Sorbu Paninoteca, sharing the limelight with old favorites, like the historic Huber’s and beloved downtown bento spot Shizuku, there are options anywhere in the city. Where should you order takeout this month? We’ve got it in our March Hit List, a special ode to the middle meal.
