1. Musang
Beacon Hill
Because chef Melissa Miranda’s pop-up now has a permanent home. Truly a labor of love, and largely funded by the public via a Kickstarter campaign, Musang fills a void of Filipino restaurants in Seattle — and most notably, Beacon Hill, where Filipino food once thrived. Named after her dad’s nickname, Musang puts out traditional dishes, some with local seasonal twists, like adobong sitaw with long beans and chanterelles.
