Now on Resy: Little Alley, Peking Duck House, and More Local Favorites
Updated:
From a brunch pop-up to a Chinatown institution, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
Peking Duck House Chinatown
Newly added!
Because it’s arguably one of the most iconic restaurants in the city, for reasons entirely well-deserved. It’s been open since 1978, serving their namesake dish in a perfect example of the form, carved tableside.
BHI Thursdays Gravesend
Newly added!
It’s a sprawling space with lots of TVs showing whatever game is on tonight, plus a menu of entirely kosher favorites. Do know that the frozen strawberry daiquiris are a perfect way to start the night off.
Little Alley Murray Hill
Newly added!
When you happen to be in the neighborhood, Little Alley is a great bet for Shanghai-style cuisine like beer-braised duck and stir-fried cauliflower. Definitely get a round of Shanghai 1943s for the table.
BLU Seafood Restaurant Laurelton
Newly added!
Head here to take your pick from a long menu of classic and creative Caribbean seafood dishes like lobster-crab mac and cheese, seafood boils, and ackee and codfish spring rolls.
Abba Bar & Grill Williamsburg
Newly added!
Abba has a lot going for it — especially, their daily specials like Taco Tuesday (two for $5), Wing Wednesday ($1 each) and happy hours with $10 mojitos. No matter when you visit, expect a good time.
Arno Ristorante Midtown South
Newly added!
Clams oreganata, veal scallopine, and rigatoni all’Amatriciana? Say less. Head here before or after you catch a game or a show at MSG.
Sultan Mediterranean Cuisine Lenox Hill
Newly added!
It’s a bright and homey restaurant with a menu to match: Think hummus, labne, and kebab served on white tablecloths. Oh, and don’t skip the knafeh, either.
Tenny's Brunch East Williamsburg
Newly added!
All the Brooklyn scenesters are likely already at Tenny’s Brunch, the latest spot to pop-up at SAA in Williamsburg. Tenny’s is serving up a pastry bar, waffles with all-you-can-eat toppings, and brunch-style cocktails.
Strange Delight Fort Greene
It’s New Orleans cuisine done right: The seafood-focused menu from chef Ham El-Waylly is filled with things like charbroiled oysters and shrimp loaf milk bread sandwiches, and manages to be both classic and creative.
Markette Chelsea
Sawaan thai Midtown
The menu here is filled with classics that are classic for a reason — beef brisket pho, papaya salad, and vermicelli bowls. It’s ideal for a quick dinner in the neighborhood when you need a big bowl of something warm and tasty.
Tumi Peruvian Restaurant Hell's Kitchen
You shouldn’t go to a Peruvian restaurant without ordering the ceviche, lomo saltado, and a pisco sour. At Tumi, this advice absolutely won’t steer you wrong — they’ve got the essentials down pat and ready for you to peruse.
Antica Financial District
Because it’s an ideal spot to unwind with your coworkers after a long day, over plates of steaming Bolognese and creamy alfredo. We also wouldn’t say no to sharing an order of veal meatballs, if you’re down …
The Tusk Bar NoMad
It’s a raw bar (heavy on the oysters) with expertly crafted cocktails and service until midnight. Stop by for a pre- or post-dinner drink before heading deeper into The Evelyn Hotel to their sister restaurant, Brass.
Gardenia Terrace Hookah Lounge Hell's Kitchen
It’s pretty much always a party at Gardenia, but that becomes especially true when the DJ starts spinning at 10 p.m. and the hookah smoke starts to pleasantly waft through the air. The feta tasting and hummus should both be on your table, if the pipe allows for the room.
Red Onion East Village
Head here to feast on a menu of Indian curries, biryani, and samosas underneath the (projected) moon and stars. Don’t forget side orders of mango chutney and caramelized onion relish to go with your bounty.
The Loft Steakhouse – Brooklyn Borough Park
No matter what you order at here (although, we’d say the pepper-crusted steak and garlic mashed potatoes), make sure to ask nicely for a peek inside their supremely beautiful wine cellar. They call it The Library, and for good reason.
Utsav Indian Restaurant Midtown
Because Utsav does Indo-Chinese cuisine brilliantly, and it’s also a sprawling, bi-level spot that just happens to be located on a skywalk right near Times Square. People-watch to your heart’s content as you enjoy paneer tikka and Manchurian-style cauliflower.
Armada Lower East Side
When in need of an intimate spot with cold drinks and moody lighting, Armada never fails. Crispy enoki mushrooms, bacon, egg, and cheese deviled eggs, and crisp gem lettuce with miso Caesar dressing may not be your typical bar fare, but here they fit right in.
L'Adresse Nomad NoMad
An elegantly marbled floor, white tablecloths, and a sparkling mirrored bar come together at L’Adresse to make for an ideal setting to impress business guests and out-of-towners. And the menu has something for everyone, from black truffle gnocchi to spicy tuna crispy rice.
Palermo Gramercy Gramercy
Bring a friend here to try one of the many dishes for two. There’s picanha paella, tomahawk steaks, and parrillada all designed to be shared at this Argentinian steakhouse, amid a backdrop of white tablecloths and the occasional festive birthday sparkler.
Bhatti Indian Grill Murray Hill
Amid a stylish black and gold backdrop, Punjabi cuisine takes the spotlight. Specifically, its kebab culture, boasting 21 types of skewers alongside one of the best butter chickens in town. Pro tip: Don’t sleep on the wine list, courtesy of sommelier Doreen Winkler.
Tang by Mr. Sun Upper East Side
From the great minds behind Flushing’s Hunan House, Tang serves up a long menu of dishes like Peking duck, delicate lobster shumai, and creamy king crab udon. Pro tip? Don’t skip the dessert list.
