Every visit to River Twice is unique, as wife-and-husband team that is Amanda and Randy Rucker continues to create one of the city’s finest tasting menu experiences. The offerings are constantly changing, but the Ruckers’ focus remains the same: a celebration of their region’s ingredients and culture, translated through a dedicated four-course menu, available Friday through Monday.
Carversville Inn New Hope
After an extensive renovation, this historic Bucks County institution (which first opened as a tavern in 1815) has become a must-see — and must-dine — destination. The interior is nothing less than opulent, with extravagantly patterned wallpaper, crystal chandeliers, and elaborate table settings. The food? Perfectly realized French classics, from onion soup to trout almondine.

We’re here for the creative pub fare (cheesesteak egg rolls, soft pretzels, smash burgers), the more than 30 beers (local and otherwise), the signature cocktails (don’t miss the blood orange cosmo), and the easy-going atmosphere complete with a breezy patio.
