Now on Resy: Attaboy, Hav & Mar, Gopchang Story BBQ, and More Local Favorites
From Marcus Samuelsson’s seafood spot to one of the world’s most lauded cocktail bars, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
Attaboy Lower East Side
Newly added!
It’s one of the world’s most critically acclaimed bars — for good reason. Attaboy is cozy, low-lit, and menu-free, which means you describe what you’d like to their bartenders, and they take it from there. We’ve never once been disappointed. P.S. This is the place to order a Penicillin, Paper Plane, and Greenpoint; each of those cocktails was invented here.
Gopchang Story BBQ Midtown South

Newly added!
If you’re a fan of offal, first, join the club. Then, head here. Named for the Korean word for cow (or pig) intestines, Gopchang offers a long list of high-quality beef cuts, plus complementary sides. Don’t forget to order a drink: We recommend the lemon soju highball that comes in a Capri-Sun-like pouch.

Hav & Mar Chelsea

Newly added!
Marcus Samuelsson applies his signature “Swediopian” flair to the seafood-focused menu here, and from starters to sides, you can’t go wrong. Make the most of your good fortune by ordering the blue masa cornbread, Black mermaid seafood tower, and biryani jubilee with crab, lobster, and shrimp. Oh, and maybe a few extra oysters for the table?

BarChef New York Midtown
Newly added!
It’s a spot from one of the judges on Netflix’s “Drink Masters,” so get ready for a little showmanship. The cocktails range from the light and aromatic Spring Thaw (with Champagne and edible flowers) to savory concoctions like the Heirloom Garden with sun-dried tomato-infused gin. No matter what you order, expect the presentation to be elaborate and fun.
Bliss Terasu Financial District
Newly added!
When good vibes are the only call to action, this is your spot. The vibrant, neon-lit space flows indoors to outdoors (with plush seating to sink into) while you enjoy classic sushi and small plates. And, there are cocktails to match, perfect for a lively date or happy hour with a crew.
Little Rascal Nolita Nolita
Newly added!
This charming spot has been serving up Turkish bites like dolma, lamb chops, and feta phyllo in Manhattan for more than a decade. Sit in front of the stained-glass window if you can, and do know that the cocktails are also worthy of some attention. We’re partial to Constantina’s Cosmo, with raspberry and lychee.
Margaux by La Sirène Midtown

Newly added!
It’s the sister project of a cult-favorite French restaurant (La Sirène, ICYMI), conveniently located for your Midtown power lunch needs. Chef Didier Pawlicki is serving up all the classics, from escargots and foie gras to brie and jambon sandwiches. Oui, chef!

Daintree Midtown
Newly added!
If you’re going to have a near-perfect view of the Empire State Building, it doesn’t hurt to also have some good cocktails and small bites. Enter: Daintree. Do know that the Aussie Spritz with Pimm’s, strawberry, and thyme, and the sausage rolls will never steer you wrong.
Bordeaux Steakhouse Midwood
Newly added!
It’s right there in the name — you know what to order. And while you’re at it, treat yourself to a tomahawk prime ribeye or lamb chop, along with all of the classic steakhouse sides. Did we mention this spot is fully kosher?
MARUZZELLA Upper East Side
Newly added!
It doesn’t get more classic New York Italian: Maruzzella has been serving the UES linguini alla vongole, veal scallopini, minestrone, and carpaccio since 1988. Try to snag a spot in front of the big open windows, and order a strong glass of red for good measure. You’re in good hands.
Chela Park Slope

Chela is a tried-and-true spot for Mexican favorites, great for a casual weeknight dinner or brunch with a group. Make sure to order the birria and the tamarind flan, and definitely put it in your Sunday rotation for their weekend exclusive: Chef Mario’s “famous carnitas.”

Flowing Space Tea House Lower East Side
You can trust Flowing Space for expertly-sourced teas. And you’d do well to go all-in with their omakase experience, where one of their practiced “tea artists” leads you through several courses of tea, mixed drinks, and desserts — you’d truly be hard pressed to find an experience like it anywhere else in the city.
Maretta East Village
With a space that’s as classic as the menu, Maretta is a gem of an Italian spot. Expect exposed concrete and candlelight to serve as your backdrop to linguini with clams, pizza bianca, and tiramisu. Order a Negroni shakerato (or dive into their excellent wine list), and you’re set for the night.
Dee's Wood Fired Pizza & Kitchen Forest Hills
Because Dee’s has been firing pizzas out of a wood-fired oven for more than 30 years, so you can count on a great slice every single time. If you’re looking for a pie, the Forest Hills with burrata, prosciutto di Parma, arugula, and balsamic reduction is a good place to start — it’s practically required eating.
Mito Forest Hills Forest Hills

Because this is the original location of (the now-expanded) Mito, which has been serving up Japanese fare in Forest Hills for close to a decade. Find all of your sushi bar favorites plus other surf-and-turf Asian specialties here, within a show-stopping space that boasts a rowboat on the ceiling.

L'Antagoniste Bed-Stuy
What more could you want than a charming, quintessential, brick-lined corner French spot in the heart of Bed-Stuy? A menu to match it all. Luckily for you, the dishes at L’Antagoniste run the gamut of classics, with excellent renditions of things like escargots, bouillabaisse, steak frites, and more.
Favela Grill Astoria
You’re in good hands: Favela is a known favorite for Brazilian dishes in a very competitive borough. As such, must-orders include the incredible pão de queijo, the grilled picanha with farofa, and a caipirinha for good measure, of course.
Sipsteria Upper West Side
This idyllic neighborhood spot is a great spot for wine, espresso, and best of all: live jazz. Enjoy the buzzy atmosphere along with Georgian snacks and charcuterie, and know that Sipsteria works just as well for a romantic night out as for a casual hangout with your crew.
DEIÀ Prospect Lefferts Gardens

This hidden gem of a bar in Brooklyn is one of those rare spots that has something for anyone looking to hang, whether it’s for a Knicks game, one of the frequent DJ sets, or movie nights. Keep a close eye on their socials for up-to-date information on events, and do know that the sunset margarita and truffle fries will never steer you wrong.

Lusardi's Upper East Side
You don’t make it more than four decades as an Italian restaurant in this city without some serious chops. Lusardi’s is as classic as they come with dishes like veal ravioli and rabbit cacciatore atop white tablecloths. Don’t skip their wine list — their cellar boasts more than 200 bottles and the staff absolutely knows their stuff.
Cacio e Pepe Restaurant East Village
You know what they say — when in Rome, do as the Romans do. And here, you’re definitely ordering the cacio e pepe, served tableside in a giant parmesan wheel with whole black peppercorns. That should be enough to draw you in, but if you need a little something extra, order the porchetta with figs to start.
BARN JOO 35 Midtown South
It’s a gastropub that offers both classic Korean fare (think uni-laded bibimbap, bulgogi hot pot, and crispy kimchi tofu), plus creative riffs like spicy pork tacos. Head here for after-work drinks that don’t feel routine, or for a hearty meal with friends — the low lighting and natural stone walls keep things intimate yet lively.
Sik Gaek Sunnyside
It’s a classic and beloved Korean barbecue spot, complete with a long list of prime meats, bibimbap, and hotpot, and a perfectly kitschy dining room lined with magazine cut-outs and newspaper. Each table has its own grill, so it’s ideal if you’re with a group — large or small.
Veselka (Williamsburg) Williamsburg

You know it, you love it, you’ve eaten pierogi at it at 10 p.m. Veselka’s iconic East Village location has expanded to Williamsburg, all the better for your late night (yet still not 24-hours again, tragically, but we hold out hope) borscht, schnitzel, and latke needs.

Lulla's Bakery & Cocktails Williamsburg

There are few joys in this world equal to the feeling of tucking in at Lulla’s and eating an arepa, a guava croissant, and pan de queso while sipping on a cocktail created by an Eleven Madison Park alum. And if that wasn’t enough of a draw, Lulla’s donates some of their profits to Venezuelan families seeking asylum, so you can feel even better about your choice to come here.
