Now on Resy: Buka, The Smith, Dons Bogam, and More Local Favorites
From an excellent Nigerian spot in Bed-Stuy to a late-night Korean barbecue gem in Midtown, these are just a few of the beloved New York spots that are now bookable on Resy. Right this way.
Note: This list will be updated regularly with new additions each month, so be sure to check back often. For New York’s newest restaurant openings, head here.
Fellini Cucina West Village

Newly added!
Bright spaghetti pomodoro, wood-fired prosciutto and burrata pizza, and handmade fettuccine could all be yours with a trip to Fellini in the West Village. And if that isn’t enough to entice you, maybe their cozy, elegant bistro-style dining room will tip the scale?

Buka an Authentic Nigerian Restaurant Bedford-Stuyvesant
Newly added!
All you really need to know is that Buka’s known as one of the city’s essential spots for Nigerian food. Start with some lamb suya and the excellent pof pof (fried Nigerian doughnuts) before delving into heftier plates like the extra-comforting pepper soup (your choice of fish or goat) or any of the spicy tomato-based stews (we loved the smoked catfish), which are served with fufu.
Common Country Kips Bay
Newly added!
If you’re after the wide-open spaces of the wild, wild west (or looking for a place to wear your cowboy boots out), Common Country’s the place to be, with classic Americana fare to boot. Think excellent fried chicken, extra generous baskets of tots, and near-perfect buffalo wings.
Crave Sushi Bar Midtown East

Newly added!
With a 100% sustainable seafood philosophy (they only serve wild-caught and responsibly-farmed seafood), Crave Sushi Bar is the place to go deep on all sorts of rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. Don’t miss the happy hour deals for $6 hand rolls and $10 highballs.

Greenhouse Cafe Bay Ridge
Newly added!
Because Greenhouse Cafe has been serving the Bay Ridge community for almost 50 years. The menu’s got lots to love from French onion soup and penne alla vodka to a proper rack of lamb, so if you’re ever in the area, know that if you head here, you’re in very good hands.
Ethyl’s Bar & Restaurant New York
Newly added!
Because Ethyl’s is an ode to New York’s 70s disco era, making it one of the best places to dance in the city, plain and simple. Don’t miss live music every Wednesday (and the day’s beer and burger special), and speaking of burgers, know that their “French Connection” burger is worthy of dreams.
Union Pizza Works Bushwick
Newly added!
Because what’s more Bushwick than feasting on wood-fired pies in an old truck repair shop? Bring your crew (including your gluten-free and vegan friends — they’ve got options), order a range of pies, some housemade pastas, and wash it all down with some beers.
Dons Bogam Midtown East

Newly added!
Is there anything better than a really good KBBQ spot that’s open late? We doubt it. At Dons Bogam, you’d do well to order the marinated beef platter, kimchi jjigae, and cold green tea noodles before you head out on the town (or head home).

Crave Fishbar – Upper West Side Upper West Side
Newly added!
With a 100% sustainable seafood philosophy (they only serve wild-caught and responsibly-farmed seafood), Crave FishBar is your place to go deep on lobster rolls, oysters (don’t miss the happy hour deal), and fish tacos. There’s just something about doing good that tastes that much better …
Book the Midtown location, too.
The Smith – East Village East Village
Newly added!
You know it, you love it, and as the original location of the city’s favorite comfort food haven, a trip to The Smith wouldn’t be complete without the skillet mac and cheese, a burger, and a couple of martinis.
Momoya – UWS Upper West Side
Newly added!
Everyone knows that Momoya’s a go-to for their signature sushi rolls and perfectly-made Japanese classics (everything from miso black cod to chicken teriyaki). But at the Upper West Side location, do consider going for lunch, where the expanded specials (like a roll combo, chirashi, chicken katsudon) are perfect for treating your coworkers (and yourself).
TacoVision

Newly added!
Mezcal lovers, right this way: TacoVision boats one of the largest mezcal and Tequila lists in the city, with a list running 350 references deep. There’s plenty else to love though at this Mexico City-inspired spot: tacos of all sorts (try the garlic-roasted shrimp one), a chilaquiles double smash burger, and a 90-minute “endless tacos” brunch deal for $28 — yes, you read that right.

Bar314 Morningside Heights
Newly added!
This place is way more than a bar: it’s a Morningside Heights haven for handmade pastas, jazz nights every Wednesday, and next-level pizza. Think dough that’s light-as-air, with a char worthy of worship, and toppings that include choices like gorgonzola, hot honey, caramelized onions, and pancetta — gluten-free options included.
Terina Bay Ridge
Newly added!
Sleek and swanky, Terina is Bay Ridge’s de facto Italian supper club for the modern age, complete with white tablecloths, a low-lit lounge, a smart-casual dress code, and a killer Aperol limoncello. Our ideal order? Stuffed zucchini flowers to start, the hearty rabbit ragu, and with the silky Sicilian risotto.
Il Brigante Financial District

Newly added!
There’s nothing like a brick-lined Italian joint that serves up classics like spaghetti with clams and trofie in pesto (and does it oh so well). Just don’t forget to pick up a few cannoli for the road.

Foodance Italian Restaurant Hell's Kitchen
Newly added!
Come for the bright and delicious Italian plates (from cacio e pepe ravioli to a whole branzino), stay for the owners, a married couple, who work the room like no other (come on a night when there’s live music to see what we’re talking about).
Alison St Marks East Village
Newly added!
The St. Marks location of a Harlem mainstay that is very much beloved, Alison keep things simple and delicious, with dishes like cheese croquettes, Thai curry mussels, and baba au rhum.
Cross Road Brooklyn Ditmas Park
Newly added!
In addition to a stellar lineup of Caribbean-inspired dishes (think jerk chicken, pineapple-topped burgers, and coconut curry mussels), Cross Road is the place to go to for a killer $30 brunch deal, $10 rum punches during happy hour, and more.
The Tang Upper West Side

While The Tang has excellent Chinese and Taiwanese specialties, the noodles section might just shine the most. There are no less than ten varieties to choose from, from braised beef noodle soup and dan dan noodles to an herbal chicken noodle soup that’s been simmered for six hours. Come with a group of friends so you can sample the smaller plates — dim sum, scallion pancakes, popcorn chicken, and the like — but to each their own noodle.

Crave Fishbar – Upper East Side Upper East Side
With a 100% sustainable seafood philosophy (they only serve wild-caught and responsibly-farmed seafood), Crave FishBar is your place to go deep on grilled octopus, Maine lobster rolls, oysters (don’t miss the happy hour deal), and blackened branzino. There’s just something about doing good that tastes that much better …
Enoteca Harlem Central Harlem
The Basque Country certainly doesn’t feel 3,500 miles away when you’re at Enoteca in Harlem. The langoustines are perfectly simmered in white wine, the tortilla de patatas knocks it out of the park, and the croquetas pull away to reveal everything from cod to shrimp in coconut milk. Throw in a curated list of Spanish wines and escape from New York, if only for a night.
Fiddlesticks West Village
Enjoying a pint of Guinness at the bar here is a rite of passage for any New Yorker, as is partaking in a round of loaded fries for the table. It’s a New York City classic where everyone feels at home.
Pearl Street Dumbo
Because you can’t beat a menu of seafood-centric specialties right by the Brooklyn waterfront in Dumbo. Try the fluke ceviche, the raw oysters, or the perfect high/low combination that is the golden Osetra caviar “pie” served in an open bag of Fritos.
DAGG Thai Midtown

Yes, Dagg has massaman curry and pad Thai, but you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t choose something from the house signatures, too. Think muk yad sai (an incredible stuffed squid stew with salted duck egg yolk), grilled cuttlefish, and a fancy twist on krapow with Wagyu.
