While they don’t have a private dining room in the traditional sense of the word, their lush back patio and covered outdoor garden, adorned with all manner of greenery, can be rented out for events with varying capacities depending on the size of your group (up to 48 seated and 50 standing). Taqueria, opened this modernist-looking dining experience in the Walt Disney Concert Hall in March with a seasonally evolving menu. There are two areas available for rental at Liz Johnson and Will Aghajanian’s perpetually buzzing brasserie that feels like a cross between a European pub and an English equestrian club. The gallery space holds 30 sitting and 45 standing, while the newly opened Garden space holds 50 sitting and 100 standing.

Located within the new Academy Museum, Fanny’s offers cafe-style breakfast and lunch service during the day, and a swankier, more dramatic dining experience at night complete with tableside theatrics. Inspired by the comedienne Fanny Brice, the spot nods to old Hollywood glamour both in its decor and men. The space features a private dining room that holds up to 12 guests on the mezzanine level, overlooking the dining room and museum. A semi-private space can fit up to 38 guests.

For large parties, the indoor private dining room has a floor-to-ceiling view of the wine cellar and fits up to 36 seated guests or 55 standing.

So new the paint is still drying, the team behind Mirame have expanded east to Los Feliz with the opening of this three-story, 7,500 square-foot sequel to their Cal-Mexican original in Beverly Hills. Having debuted on November 17, it features multiple private dining areas including a lush, retractable roof area.
