Women do so much of the essential work in restaurants. And yet women struggle for recognition and visibility in so many parts of the hospitality industry. That’s not entirely the case in Los Angeles, though, where you’ll find women running the kitchen or the dining-room floor of many of the city’s best restaurants, from longstanding classics (The Cat & Fiddle) to buzzy new hotspots (Joseon).
Throughout March, Resy will honor women in the restaurant industry through our annual Women of Food series. We’re celebrating the restaurants, and the women behind them, who shape the vibrant dining scene in the city, and around the country. These women know how to hustle and are changing the future of hospitality, one dish at a time.
