
With patio season fully activated, it’s high time to take stock of Boston’s alfresco dining inventory. This season sees a few newcomers in the form of Harvard’s Bar Enza and Castle Island Brewing Company in South Boston.
We’re also happy to see a few pandemic pivots — like the street-side expansion of Saltie Girl and the creation of Shore Leave’s courtyard cocktail garden — return for another go. And lastly, we’d like to salute the all-time open-air champs like Brownyn, Bar Mezzana, and Woods Hill Pier 4, which have geared up for another season of outdoor greatness.
