The Resy Guide to Outdoor Dining in New York

By

New York City has mastered outdoor dining this summer. Spritzes can now be sipped on sidewalks. City streets — some of them — feel a bit like, yes, Europe.

Just don’t let your excitement get in the way of the rules: Be sure to wear a mask as often as possible (especially when interfacing with servers), stay informed of specific restaurant protocols, and tip well!

From Greenpoint all the way to the Upper West Side, here’s a handy guide for where to dine al fresco. And if you don’t see your favorite restaurant open yet, you can always use My Hit List to stay notified about when it plans to reopen.

Added 8/10: Frenchette, Peter Luger, Public Records, Kintsugi, Forsythia, Cookshop, Emilio’s Ballato.
