The Resy Guide To Outdoor Dining in London

As lockdown restrictions gradually ease, restaurants and bars are slowly reopening their dining rooms across the city. Dining al fresco seems to be a way for those missing restaurants to enjoy dining out again, and doing so provides welcome support to an industry still fighting for survival.

Just don’t let your excitement get in the way of the rules: Be sure to wear a mask as often as possible (especially when interacting with staff), keep up to speed with specific restaurant protocols, and tip well. Many restaurants are still serving their communities as takeaways, delis, and wine shops, so if you’re not ready to venture out just yet, you can still support them and enjoy some delicious food or wine in return.

From Vauxhall up to Stoke Newington, here’s a handy guide for where to dine outdoors. And if you don’t see your favourite restaurant open yet, you can always use My Hit List to stay notified about when it plans to reopen.
